Nor-Tech earns InfiniBand Specialist Certification
Nor-Tech's development team has added IB Specialist Certification to their list of qualifications. Certified IB Specialists must demonstrate correct installation and configuration of QLogic InfiniBand® products, and troubleshooting skills and possess hands on experience with QLogic InfiniBand HCAs and Switches.
InfiniBand is a type of communications link for data flow between processors and I/O devices that offers throughput of up to 40 gigabits per second for QDR InfiniBand (with 100 gigabits coming soon) and support for up to 64,000 addressable devices. Because it is also scalable and supports quality of service (QoS), InfiniBand is often used as a server connect in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
