Our demo Portable Cluster has been getting around a lot lately, visiting destinations all over the country and racking up awards and honors along the way. But it was quick jaunt across town that truly demonstrated portability of the mobile supercomputer.

Dom Daninger, VP of Engineering for Nor-Tech got a call from a valued cluster customer that was looking into virtualization clustering, but didn't have the hardware necessary to conduct their tests. Fortunately for them, we happen to have a HPC cluster that's specially designed to travel from lab to lab, wherever high performance computation is needed.

Thanks to its rugged construction and Nor-Tech's highly qualified crew, we loaded the Portable Cluster onto the back of a pickup and had it delivered, installed, and up and running the next morning.
