Nor-Tech showcases the Portable Cluster at SC07 Nov 13, 2007 Reno, NV, USA—November 13th, 2007 — Nor-Tech is proud to showcase their revolutionary Portable Cluster at the Supercomputing '07 Conference (SC07) in Reno, NV this week. In addition to the Nor-Tech HPC Clusters booth, different models of the Portable Cluster can be seen in the Microsoft booth and in the Utah State University booth.
Nor-Tech's Vice President of Engineering, Dom Daninger and HPC Cluster Specialist, Tom Morton will be giving their presentation Portable Clusters: A Disruptive Technology on Thursday, November 15th at 10:30 AM in room A7 of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. A web-based version of that presentation will be available at portableclusters.com soon. SC07 is the premier international conference on high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis. Since 1988, the Supercomputing Conference has showcased the latest state-of-the-field developments in technology, applications, vendor products, research results, national policy and national/ international initiatives. SC07 is the one place attendees can see tomorrow’s technology being used to solve world-class challenge problems today.
About Nor-Tech Nor-tech has configured small and large HPC systems using a variety of Linux and Microsoft based OS's and cluster management suites, including Centos, FC, Suse, Rocks, SGE, Windows Compute Cluster Server and Rocks.
