Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal - June 9, 2006: David Bollig's business competes every day against some of the best-known names in computing. So he's taking some steps to ensure that his own company is recognized as well.

Bollig is CEO of Northern Computer Technologies Inc., which this month took the wraps off one of its biggest branding efforts ever -- pushing the Voyageur line of customized personal computers that it sells to universities and corporate customers.

Northern Computer's rivals include Dell Computer, which perfected the art of selling inexpensive PCs online in the late 1990s, squeezing out many smaller rivals.

Nor-Tech was recently featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune in an article written by the paper's former business editor, Dick Youngblood. Youngblood covers Nor-Tech's evolution starting as a parts distributor through its transformation into a leading manufacturer of custom configured PCs, Servers and Laptops, culminating in the recent achievment of being named Microsoft's MVP Top System Builder in 2004.
