Leading builder of HPC clusters for simulation and big data analytics, Nor-Tech just announced a new tagline: People Friendly Technology with a Global Reach. This reflects the company’s continual expansion into global markets—most recently Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the Philippines, Brazil, Ireland and Canada.
Nor-Tech President and CEO David Bollig said, “We have had the honor of building clusters for several global projects recently, including the LIGO Gravitational Wave project, the IceCube project (for detecting neutrinos at the South Pole), and Elon Musk’s Hyperloop transportation project. Nor-Tech’s previous tagline, People Friendly Technology, was developed to convey two key points:
1. 2. Nor-Tech provides no-wait-time support expertise: Many of Nor-Tech’s clients don’t have immediate access to internal technical support. Knowing how frustrating it can be to hit a snag, call the manufacturer for support, be put on an extensive hold, and finally speak with a customer service rep that doesn’t know the answer or can’t explain the solution in terms that the caller can understand, Nor-Tech pledges that service calls will be answered immediately by a service expert that offers real help.
The new tagline communicates the additional message that Nor-Tech’s easy-to-deploy clusters and immediate support expertise have been tested and proven around the world. “While we built our reputation on providing user-friendly technology and no-wait time support and this still reflects our core mission, we felt it was time to expand our original tagline to reflect our expanding global presence,” Bollig said.
