Although shock-mounted STD 19” rackmount cases are designed to readily accept STD 19” rackmount electronics, users typically require further modifications to ensure proper installation. Portable Cluster rackmount cases are available in both Commercial and Military configurations with a variety of optional features to make them ready to accept components. Other value added items improve component organization and expand the functionality of the rackmount cases.

Rack Frame - Optional E.I.A. Square Hole Pattern Recommended • Supplied with standard CAGE nuts	Rack Frame - Top & Bottom Equipment Support Rails • Full front to back support of equipment along the top and bottom	Rack Frame - Adjustable Horizontal Equipment Support Rails • For support of equipment which is not fixed on the rear rack rails, prevent the “spring-board” effect

Rack Frame - Adjustable Vertical Equipment Support Rails • Typically used when equipment depth is less than the overall rack depth	Coupling Catches • Strap together the stackable cases for shipment	Spring Loaded Delta Lift / Tie-Down Rings • Used for lifting cases and securing them while in transit

Spring Loaded Handles • High strength handles with rubber grips for comfort	Extra Handles on Lids • Standard on select Quick Ship models • Facilitates the removal & installation of lids	Custom Silk Screening & I.D. Tags • Custom logos and markings on case shells, panels brackets and internal chassis

Custom Case Shell Colors • Color surcharge may apply • Material surcharge & extended delivery lead time may apply	Cable Pouches • Installed in the lid • Three standard sizes: Small (for 3U - 5U case sizes) Medium (for 6U - 9U case sizes) Large (for 10U + case sizes)	Pressure Equalization Valve • Automatically regulates pressure inside the chassis

Lid / Table Conversion Kit • Removable Legs convert lid into a bench • Sway space (at lid) is reduced to 1 inch. Available on cases 16U and greater	4” Swivel Casters w/ Dual Locking Mechanism • Standard on Quick Ship models • Casters are removable and stored inside the lid when the case is in transit	Ramped Shipping Crate • Padded, wooden shipping crate with built-in ramp for easy loading and unloading • Top-mounted container for additional storage also available • Dimensions for 15 cabinet crate: Width: 52", Height: 51", Depth: 35" (not including Accessory Box) Fixed, non-removable casters are recommended for ease of loading and unloading from ramped crate

Multi-Terrain Caster Options • Various types available, including: stainless steel casters, rubber casters, heavy duty casters or swivel casters. For best performance, Nor-Tech Recommends 2 swivel and 2 straight fixed steel casters with soft rubber face.	Lid / Bench Conversion Kit • Hinged panel & removable Legs convert lid into a bench • Sway space (at lid) is reduced to 1 inch • Available on cases 10U and greater	Ultra Heavy Payload (> 350 lbs) • Case shell upgrade to 0.125” thick 5052-H32 aircraft grade aluminum • Helical Coil (wire rope) isolators • Reinforced rack frame
